About Us
Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church has started a diocese for the overall development of the eastern part of the Kerala State named Ranni - Nilackal Diocese .The Diocese has started functioning from 1st January 1990. The Diocese includes 130 parishes consisting 12 centres and one parish abroad Abu Dhabi.
His Grace Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Barnabas Suffragan Metropolitan is serving as the Diocesan Episcopa since 1st January 2024. The blessed leadership of the Thirumeni helped the diocese to the ministry of our Lord Jesus in a very meaningful way. Thirumeni's vision and mission about the church and society is widely accepted and this helped faith community as well as the civil society to improve the quality of life or goodness.
